By adding this mount and base plate, you can significantly enhance the stability of your Prusa i3 printer. This simple modification has greatly improved my printer's output. To aid with assembly, I have provided a DXF file for a wooden base and another version for a Prusa i3 with "wings." The mount is designed for an 8mm threaded rod and M4 screw, and you should use at least four of them to secure your printer to the base plate.
