These parts are specifically designed as base mounts for Prusa i3 3D printers. They clip securely onto M8 threaded base rods, allowing the printer to be assembled without needing disassembly. Three adjustable mounting options provide flexibility in placing the mounts along sides or at the front and back of the printer. I used these versatile components to firmly affix my G3D printer, purchased from Gadgets3D, onto a wood platform, thereby simplifying transportation and eliminating the risk of accidental misalignment during setup. A compatible SketchUp file is included for added convenience. 2016-01-23 Update: I have refined and cleaned up the SketchUp design to enhance functionality and performance.
