This version is designed for M5 Z axis. It can be easily adapted to other diameters and shared freely. A revised model has been added, incorporating M6 and M8 skates for 6mm and 8mm threaded rods respectively. The concept involves decoupling the traction and guidance of the Z-axis. Traction is now taken by the skate, while guidance is provided by the X motor and X idler. The threaded rod no longer affects the Z-axis movement due to its irregularities. A reworked X motor and X idler were designed with a greater surface area in contact with the skate for increased stability. To secure this configuration, additional features have been integrated, including a belt tensioner system on the X idler and a dedicated endstop support. Materials Needed: * 2 M5 nuts * 3 M4 nuts * 3 M4 screws * Plastic components (2 skates, one for each Z threaded rod) Assembly Instructions: 1. Embed the M5 nuts into the skates. 2. Assemble the X motor and X idler using previously published instructions. Warranty: Be cautious; this upgrade will alter your Z homing settings, potentially leading to collisions with the Z couplers. This may cause your bed to move upwards if it has high clearance. The design's reliance on gravity to facilitate homing means that it is not suitable for printing in space or with an inverted printer.
