Prusa i3/Anet A8 Titan Aero Mount with BLTouch

I've checked the revision history below. As of January 12, 2019, I'm considering this part final. A BOM has been added as well. Pic of the assembly posted too. What this is: So I remixed Greg's Titan Aero mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2192480). I wanted a BL Touch mount, but also increased rigidity and kept it more compact than some other mounts out there. There's a Prusa model and an enhanced Anet one that fits the Anet X-Axis spacing better and is lighter. Use the right one. Changes: (In the images, all the grey parts are edits on the original design) 1. I fixed the motor mounts to be symmetrical and made minor position changes for mount clearance and BLTouch clearance. 2. I fixed the zip tie hole at the bottom that had a blockage in the design. 3. I made room for a BL Touch near the extruder, but it's very close to the fan so I'm still testing to see if this is workable. It should be with 1.5mm clearance to the fan from the plug. 4. I strengthened multiple areas of the design by reinforcing the motor mount on the mounting plate, top, side, and bottom, and removed two weak points in the original design. 5. I added screws for additional strength to the X-Axis belt mounts. 6. I added basic wire management (first draft in this version). 7. I changed the bearing retention to add stops on the sides of them since the ribs that were in the top bearing channel were too small for most printing resolutions. 8. I added an X-Endstop Plate for Anet-based machines. You'll need to flip the contact switch over to hit it. 9. I included a fast and dirty hack to the original fan ducts Greg has posted, which stretched to 40mm out. Clearance is very tight with the e3D Compact but powerful motor and the 39mm given the additional thickness of the motor mount. The 40mm should give clearance (to be printed and tested, validated in CAD). **There's a Prusa-specific and Anet-specific duct and mount.** The other mounts I downloaded and tried off this mount had two pieces and moved the heavy weight off the X-Axis further. I figured keeping things tight would work. I'm printing the first version now in PETG but have done extensive fitment checks and such in FreeCAD beforehand, so I'm confident that this will fit all components. This mount still fits fan ducts Greg included in the original design. BLTouch offsets should be: (based on CAD dimensions) X = +17mm Y = 24 mm Z = -2.1 (YMMV depending on your setup)
