Prusa i3 adjustable spring loaded z-axis opto endstop trigger and mount

Hi, I really like the x-axis design of ch1t0 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:76660) ... using the spring-loaded counter nut design has improved precision of the z-axis a lot. As I had troubles with the triggering of my old opto Gen7 Z-Axis Endstop, I upgraded my custom Prusa i3 using this schmagulöl fine adjustable optical endstop trigger mount. But why spring-loaded? The included spring presses from the bottom side of the nut holder (on the x-carriage) the trigger part downwards. Using this spring design, there is no backlash in the adjustment mechanics possible! Also, this design uses small diameter M3 screws for the adjustment - a full turn clockwise will lower the nozzle only 0.5 mm to the bed. Therefore, it is possible to adjust the zero-height of the nozzle very accurately and backlash-free! You'll need a self-locking nut on the lower end of the screw for this to work out - also mounting is a little bit tricky, see photos. Parts needed: 4x M3 washers Spring, inner diameter > 3 mm 2 x M3 nuts 1 x M3 nut self-locking 2 x M3 screws 5-10 mm 1 x M3 screw 20-25 mm 1 x M3 screw 25 mm If you found this useful, please donate what you think it's worth to my https://paypal.me/MoneyToMoJo. Help cover the time of design. Thanks, enjoy!
