This is the design for my Prusa I3 enclosure. It's crafted from .25" Oak Plywood, laser cut with precision, while the side inserts are made of sturdy .25" Plexiglass. There's ample space beneath for motherboards and power supplies to be mounted, and on one side, you'll find the MKS Base 3.2TFT screen prominently displayed. All hinges are 3D printed as well as the handles, adding a touch of customization to this enclosure. Dimensions come in at 18"x20", offering plenty of room for your Prusa I3 setup. **I've included the flat pattern in a .3DM (Rhino) file, which can be easily altered or modified to suit your needs. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer Model: Prusa Steel Rafting: No support is needed, as this printer excels at producing smooth surfaces without rafts. Supports: The same goes for supports – they're not required due to the high-resolution printing capabilities of my Prusa Steel. Resolution: A detailed resolution of .15mm ensures that every aspect of your prints turns out crisp and clear. Infill Density: 25% infill density strikes a perfect balance between strength and weight, making it ideal for printing handles and hinges. Notes: When printing the hinges, I highly recommend using a layer fan to achieve optimal results, especially during thin sections.
