Long LCD cables can be challenging to locate, and I've always had reservations about the original placement of the LCD on my i3 printer. This project is a result of those concerns. The design of the enclosure draws inspiration from a Smart LCD case that I used previously, but I must admit that it bears little resemblance to the original. While this creation isn't perfect and still requires refinement, it's a work in progress that might need minor adjustments in scale for optimal printing results. Additionally, 2004 LCD displays exhibit significant variations in design, with most featuring mounting holes and rotary encoders at identical positions; however, the components on the back plate can differ substantially. To assemble this enclosure successfully, you'll need M3 square nuts, four 16mm socket head screws, and two 20mm or 25mm socket head screws to secure the back plate to the frame.
