I designed a glass bed for my Hictop printer, which came equipped with an aluminum bed and 4mm proximity sensor. The new bed is made to accommodate the existing sensor, which I purchased from Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/uxcell-TL-N10ME1-DC6-36V-Proximity-Detection/dp/B00NWFCXFK?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01. The new sensor is twice as large and heavy as the old one, but offers a 10mm reach. Edit: Unfortunately, I received a defective sensor, so it's best to choose a different model. Additionally, I will be posting an update that includes an 18mm round sensor adapter and extra support at the top end.
