This easy-to-install accessory allows effortless swapping of spools and comes in two versions - an upgraded 150mm length, 20mm longer than the initial 130mm version. Print two pieces onto your printer's 5/16" or 8mm threaded rods and secure them using M3 bolts, nuts, and washers. The assembly requires a threaded rod, eight M3x18mm screws (alternatively, use M3x20), eight M3 washers, and eight M3 nuts. Despite experimenting with various spool management jigs online, this homemade solution provides superior performance due to reduced friction and enhanced rigidity. It has performed flawlessly for four months while accommodating both Octave ABS and JustPLA spools. Happy printing!
