Prusa I2 frame lift
thingiverse
To solve the space issue beneath my Prusa i2, I designed an alternative electronics and power supply setup. Firstly, print four adjustable feet from this link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:108841. Replace your regular printer feet with these custom ones. Attach the feet to the vertexes using 5/16 threaded rods (4 pieces of 6 inch rods and cut-to-size pieces for others). No washers are required in the bottom row. This modification has been stable and wobble-free, ensuring a sturdy frame that prevents tipping during printing. For added stability, I added rubber feet to each foot piece. So far, it's been a reliable solution.
