Prusa i2 direct drive extruder for E3D V6 hotend + MK7 drive gear
thingiverse
I've reworked and refined this design to optimize it for my Prusa i2, drawing from the original source on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:887386).\nKey Improvements Include:\n-MK7 drive gear compatibility is now supported!\n-I adapted the carriage specifically for the Prusa i2\n-The lever design has been remodeled, utilizing standard 623 bearings for smoother operation\n-My redesign enhances the pressure system to mimic that of other Prusa i2 configurations\n-With the revised hotend fit, you can easily install a fan directly within without interfering with the x-carriage's path\n-Screw hole positions and number have been optimized for better motor support\nFor flexible filaments, I highly recommend pairing this remix with my 3mm thick teflon tube guide, connecting from the bearing to the extruder through a bowden setup.\nThe fan I utilized can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:94086\nThrough testing, I've reached printing speeds over 70mm/s using PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle!\nThis remix supports flexible filaments at higher printing speeds above 40mm/s!
