Prusa i 3 x axis ends
thingiverse
I'm excited about building my very first i3 printer, and I wanted to incorporate some low-cost 8 mm lead screws into the Z axis. However, I was having trouble finding compatible X-end components, so I decided to design some simple ones myself. If you like these custom parts, please don't hesitate to hit that button! Update: I added a link to adjustable Z-endstops, which are available at Thingiverse - thing:1444049. Update: To alleviate stress on the i3 frame when tensioning the X-axis belt, I designed an idler end R2 with two small holes that can be tapped M3, allowing for adjustment screws to set the spacing of the Z axis smooth rods properly.
