Prusa heated platform leveling thing
thingiverse
This isn't a novel concept; rather, it's instructions for incorporating leveling to a Prusa's heated bed platform (HBP) using an AlephObjects Aluminum bed plate. To follow this guide, you will need 4 M3 rosettes from Thingiverse, 24 M3 nuts, and 4 M3x50 bolts (or possibly 30MM alternatives). Additionally, two pen springs should be cut into thirds for a total of four pieces. The instructions are applicable to the AlephObjects Aluminum bed plate. Here's a step-by-step guide: 1. Print the rosettes and insert M3 nuts. 2. Insert an M3 screw through from the nut side, followed by a locking nut. Then, attach a spring portion onto the screw. 3. Thread the screw into the aluminum plate from the bottom. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 for all four screws. 5. Place the heated bed over the screws on top of the plate. 6. Add two M3 nuts atop the heated bed. 7. Adjust the height and lock the twin nuts as "jam nuts" around the heated bed, ensuring a free rotation of the screws within the space between the nuts and plate. Remember to include the TXT file in your Thingiverse submission since they don't accept just pictures for representing a thing.
