Attached bearings to the y-frame using a custom design without crushing them with a u-bolt. The setup was tested and worked flawlessly in eSun ABS+. Users have reported that it also works well in PETG and PC, but there's no information on its performance with PLA and ASA. If you're experiencing clearance issues due to stock frame constraints, consider using button head screws with the heads at the bearing clamps. This should provide ample space for smooth operation. The design accommodates ordinary LM8UU bearings, but I personally use Igus ones available on Amazon. For those with original frames, like Bear, heat-set inserts will be necessary to avoid clearance problems.
