Prusa Frame - Aluminium Extrusion Adaptor
prusaprinters
A small part that fits into, and secures to, the aluminium extusion used on the base of the Prusa MK3s The file is not so useful on its own, but you can merge it (or use the DXF file) to add it to designs of your own. Basically will allow you to attach anything to the side of your Prusa frame... Something really useful like a permanently attached Benchy, or something less useful like a tool box, an SD card holder, spare parts holder, or anything you need really. Either merge the STL with another mesh in Meshmixer / Load the part in Slicer and stick it to the side of your existing part, or import the DXF file into Fusion, etc, to import it into your existing design. There's a max clearance from the bottom of 4.5ish mm before the part you attach this to will hit whatever surface you attach this to - so keep that in mind - and obviously your item needs enough clearance not to hit the Print bed either. (There's sloped-bottomed stl for printing upright part way up a part, and a flat one for printing direct on the print bed).
