Prusa filament spool holder by Phizinza
thingiverse
This design deviates from JBFromOz's spool holder, offering a unique alternative. To print, arrange the arms at an angle one by one on the bed due to space constraints. Warping issues with ABS Juice on glass were non-existent during my experience. The spool holder arms accommodate 260mm diameter spools, while the spindles can take holes ranging from 24 to 40mm in diameter and are compatible with standard 608 bearings (commonly skate bearings). Required hardware includes an 8mm threaded rod, a few 8mm nuts, and 2 x 608 bearings. To assemble, ensure the arms are printed at the right angle. For bearings installation, I simply placed the spindles partially inserted on a flat surface and stepped on it, but pressing them in might be an alternative method. Finally, attach the holder to top rails, fit the spindles and threaded rod, and you're done!
