This is a modification of the Prusa face shield, US version:\r\nhttps://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/27950-prusa-protective-face-shield-rc3-us-version\r\n\r\nThe design above has been modified in several key ways to improve its functionality and usability.\r\n1) The band height on the sides has been reduced for faster printing, while maintaining a tall front headband to ensure stability against the forehead.\r\n2) A retainer has been added to the middle peg for extra security.\r\n3) Legs have been incorporated into the design, similar to those found on the 3D Verkistan, eliminating the need for an elastic band - a hair tie can be used instead if needed.\r\n4) The curvature of the design has been adjusted to bring the sides and legs closer against the head, providing gentle tension and potentially eliminating the need for elastic in some cases.\r\n\r\nAdditional features have been included to provide users with more options and flexibility.\r\n1) An integrated top (shield) can be added to cover the gap between the headband and transparent film pegs without compromising the band's flexibility.\r\n2) A 90% model has been created for smaller heads, available with or without the integrated top - this model still accommodates a US 3-hole punch.\r\n\r\nNote: For users requiring the 90% model, scaling in their slicer will be necessary; Simplify 3D is a suitable option.
