This is my optimized version of the Prusa Face Shield RC3 design. I reduced the overall height from 20mm to 17.5mm and incorporated fluting into the interior of the front band, effectively minimizing material usage. The pin layout remains compatible with the original, yielding a print that speeds up by 15% while consuming 15% less material than the standard version. An optional cap is included, designed to snap into place within the grooves to provide additional protection on top of the face shield. To assemble, attach the clear face shield first (refer to Prusa instructions), then slide the cap onto the headband frame's top starting with the center tab. Secure it by grasping the front lip and rotating until the tab locks into the groove. Finally, snap the corner tabs into place for a secure fit. The cap should rest flush against the top of the headband frame. It may bow slightly when worn due to the flexible nature of the frame.
