I managed to get my hands on some button hole elastic band, but I had to settle for a roll of 2mm elastic cord instead. This makeshift headband alternative consists of two Shield clips that clip onto the shield itself, and a headband clip that grips onto the elastic cord, providing some much-needed support at the back of my head, keeping the elastic from cutting into it.
