Prusa Face Shield film cutting template
thingiverse
This is a template I'm currently using to cut the transparent film manually, following the drawings for the Prusa Face Shield rc3.\r\n\r\nIt features edge walls that lock into place on a corner of the PET film, Sharpie windows for the 24cm mark - marking cut lines for 24cm strips and then 24x24cm squares - and both necessary corners.\r\n\r\nThe template also includes holes for easy multiple-layer drilling at the top and bottom of the film.\r\nThe hole pattern is slightly wider than the original dxf file, as I found it easier to mount to the forehead beams.\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, this design requires a large printer to print, as it won't fit on most standard beds.\r\n\r\nPrint upside-down.\r\n\r\nEDIT 10.04.2020: A new version, v1.1, was added with slightly wider slots.\r\nOnShape link: https://bit.ly/2Vejd3O
