Prusa Dual Extruder Dual Fan X Carriage, Fan Duct, Fan Mounts

The main objectives of creating this model were to: 1) allow for the mounting of fan(s) in front of the X carriage, improving X movement; 2) increase stability through the use of four bearings; 3) accommodate a fan duct that encompasses two extruders; and 4) modify the right side belt/tensioner to eliminate belt twisting. The design was updated on July 20, 2012, with repaired STL files and a fan duct SKP. Additionally, a Fan Mount Cover is included for situations where a fan must be temporarily removed to prevent air escape at the mounting point. Assemble and print one of each part according to the instructions (more detailed instructions will be provided upon completion of the project).
