Prusa clone Z axis stepper extender
thingiverse
This print is engineered to carve out a critical clearance required to retract the motor shaft with a precision-machined Self-centering tr8 nut, which engages with the X axis endstop - preventing the Z axis from homing properly. In the original Prusa component, there are steppers integrated with leadscrews, and creating a clone featuring these parts alongside a detached leadscrew with a printed coupling was not feasible. Note: You must mirror this part in your slicer to create a functional component for other stepper motors.
