Prusa clone print head cooler

Prusa clone print head cooler

After building a Prusa clone, I encountered the frustrating issue of prints remaining too hot and warping/melting, resulting in inconsistent and unreliable prints. To overcome this challenge, I experimented with a few printers equipped with coolers and determined that the most effective solution was to design and build this cooler system myself. As the sole modification I've made to my printer, it has been a game-changer, transforming a budget-friendly clone printer into a reliable workhorse. This blower is mounted in direct contact with the print head, so I strongly recommend using ABS for its superior warpage resistance (air must flow constantly through it to prevent melting). Requirements: - 12V 40mm fan - 4 x 15-20mm length wood/plastic screws
