Prusa Bear Spool Holder - No T-Nuts Required

thingiverse

If you're like me, building a full Prusa Bear only to discover that you now need to print your own spool holder, all of which require the placement of t-nuts in the top rail. Moreover, the t-nuts you have necessitate disassembling your frame or relying on those drop-in t-buts which twist to lock securely in place. That's exactly what happened to me, so I decided to design a spool holder that mounts onto the frame tightly with built-in clips to lock it into position but not permanently attached. This spool holder is incredibly strong and doesn't flex under load. You can mirror the STL file to print yourself two units, then place them side by side for a dual spool holder setup.
