Using a slim version of the KEB2 socket, such as one found on Digikey (example: https://www.digikey.com/catalog/en/partgroup/keb2-series/25793) or TME.eu (example: https://www.tme.eu/en/details/4302.2001/iec-60320-connectors/schurter/) proved to be a reliable choice. Fortunately, there was no need for power panic, so that issue is not relevant. Update 18/07/2019: Added missing Fusion360 source file.
