Prusa Bear LCD control knob (for Prusa Bear frame)
thingiverse
This is my Prusa i3 Bear Upgrade control knob for the Bear frame upgrade, which replaces the frame of the Prusa Mk3 (and Mk2, Mk2S, Mk2.5) with a more rigid frame to reduce print quality issues caused by the frame flexing while printing. Full info on the Bear frame upgrade can be found here: https://github.com/gregsaun/prusa_i3_bear_upgrade and here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2808408 This control knob is a fun aesthetic 'improvement' to the bear upgrade, serving no practical purpose. Who wouldn't want a bear knob? Don't live with a bear behind, be proud - have a full-frontal bear! Note: This is still a work in progress since I haven't yet printed the knob but will do so shortly. I'll provide files in multiple versions for different print types: separate parts for multi-color prints, MMU (in theory), and as a single part to be painted. The pupils of the eyes are intended to be inserted as cut lengths of 1.75mm filament, regardless of the print type, aiding in definition of the eyes whether the knob is printed as multi-color or painted.
