Prusa Bear Hemera Filament sensor mod
thingiverse
Hello! I'm thrilled to announce that my testing is complete, and I'm excited to share this with all of you completely free! I'm incredibly pleased with how it's turned out, and it works flawlessly. This project has been a labor of love, requiring constant design and print testing for about two weeks. The attached files include the M3 screw sizes needed for each part, conveniently listed in their descriptions. To assemble the sensor, follow the OEM Prusa manual, just like it's done on the original build. The filament tube is also included in the CAD file as a cut template. Build this unit using Greg's original bearmera manual, and don't forget to add supports for some parts – specifically the front filament housing and the front fan mount. I've added pictures for reference; I used a support enforcer for the housing. If you feel like tipping me, that would be greatly appreciated, as this project has been a long time in the making! A free coffee would be lovely, but any contribution is welcome! Update (30/54/20): As requested, I've added an M6 Bowden adaptor for the sensor top to support MMU. Thanks, James.
