Prusa-based X-axis setup calls for a full-length smooth rod or possibly a bit shorter to accommodate the 3-foot thread rod as a tube support. A 40-watt laser tube measures 29 inches in length, providing ample space to mirror it and direct it towards the laser head. This is just the starting point; the project remains a work-in-progress for now. Future revisions may involve swapping out the belt for #10 ball chain instead.
