Prusa AIR V2 3D Model
thingiverse
This 3D model showcases Mecano's V2 Prusa Air, designed in Alibre and accessible in native format along with STL and STEP formats. Users can download it for personal use. The primary objective of this model is to leverage 3D modeling benefits by representing the entire printer system, enabling easier interference resolution, alteration, improvements, and analysis. However, it is still a work in progress, and no IP claims are made as it's based on previous work. Transforming OpenSCAD files into Alibre models has been attempted but remains unsuccessful, thus requiring manual conversion through measurement of STL, SCAD file study, and DXF data for AIRV2. Improvements have been implemented in printable plastic parts, especially the X-ENDS, featuring stronger design changes. The model mainly derives from PRUSAJR-PRUSARMENDEL-8DCC230 release, with the xplatform originating from thing 9869.
