Pruning Shear Holster(for Gardenite Ratchet Anvil Shears)
thingiverse
I created a holster for my Gardenite Ratchet Anvil Pruning Shears because sticking them in a pocket makes me uncomfortable, but I still need to keep them close while doing yard work. So, I made this. 10/29/19: I added an updated version that is significantly slimmer and also updated the print settings below: Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 8% Notes: Version 2 requires no supports. The first version might need supports, but you shouldn't print it anyway. Use just enough infill to support the top layers. Use 2 perimeters. I used PETG. PLA should work fine too. Print as hot as possible to get good layer bonding. How I Designed This I scanned my Gardenite shears on a flatbed scanner and used that image as a template in Fusion 360. Then, I sketched around it with splines because of how I designed it, the Gardenite shears fit best when inserted in the correct direction, and this may not fit other shears as well.
