PruLight - LED light for any Prusa i3 frame
thingiverse
Make. Break. Repeat! on Facebook: Updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays! The PruLight is designed to work seamlessly with USB LED strips. The adjustable light bar can be easily turned to change the angle of the lighting at will. Low-cost LED strips often have a problem sticking well, which is why I added friction fit "clipper" clips to keep the strips securely inside the light bar. Although the "corner" pieces are not strictly necessary, they do provide additional friction that helps maintain the chosen lighting angle. When installing the light, be sure to watch out for the cable slot and use 10mm velcro strips for effective cable management. The camera mount is versatile enough to work with most action cameras, but it was specifically modelled with the Quelima SQ11 in mind. I have uploaded a separate version of the camera mount that is optimized for this particular model. To assemble the camera mount, use M5-25 hex head screws and M5 hex nuts. Similar to the F60mount for the FuriBee F60 4K, there is also an SQ11mount available for the Quelima SQ11 as a standalone thing. In addition to this design, I have created versions of the arm for other popular printers based on open-frame v-slot extruded aluminum bars. For example, there is a version specifically designed for the Creality CR-10, known as CreaLight, and another for the Creality Ender 2, called EnLight. Although they are slightly different, both designs are based on the same innovative idea. In the future, I may add shorter and longer light bars to my collection of designs. The arms have been found to fit perfectly on the frames of the Original Prusa i3 MK2/MK2s as well as the MK3.
