Proxxon to Dremel mini saw adapter
thingiverse
Behold my 1st creation for 3D printing: an adapter that enables Proxxon rotary tools to utilize the Dremel mini saw attachment (670). I switched to Proxxon after discovering its brushless motor and because my 7-year-old Dremel 300 was experiencing torque loss. Now, I can use every Dremel accessory except the mini saw thanks to 3D printing. Unlike other Dremel mini saw tables on this site, using the angled saw attachment allows the blade to be perpendicular to any surface without obstruction from the tool body. I've employed it to cut large sheets of acrylic with precision. The STL file is ready for printing, along with the original Blender file that features additional shapes (e.g., the 2D profile rotated around the Y-axis to generate the cylinder). To ensure a proper fit, I had to file and sand the inside by approximately 0.5mm. Printing imperfections near the bottom appear due to large overhangs; however, printing it upright will eliminate these issues but compromise strength along the Z-axis.
