Proxxon Shaft Lock for flexible shaft 110/BF or 110/P

I've been using my Proxxon MICROMOT Flexishaft 110/BF for years. The shaft stands out because of its light weight compared to the strong but bulky drill/grinder IBS/E. This allows for precise tooling thanks to the dual ball-bearinged milled steel shaft. However, the flexishaft has one major drawback - it lacks a shaft lock button. To block the steel shaft when tightening or loosening the drill chuck, you need to use a dowel, drill bit, or similar object, which always annoyed me. That's why I designed this simple clip-on part. It clips right onto the handle and features a small bolt positioned over the opening for blocking the shaft. I made two designs: the first one (flexibleShaftClip.stl) prints easily flat on your print surface. To use it, heat the flat spring part close to the clip with warm air and bend it slightly upwards. Then just clip it onto the flexishaft handpiece. In use, press the bolt down into the blocking position, fasten/loosen the chuck, and let go - it will return to its original position when pressure is released. The second design (flexibleShaftClipBent.stl) was a learning experience for me. Its upward bend is part of the construction, but it requires support material during printing, which can be tricky to remove. For ease of use and making, I prefer the first design, which prints without support. Make sure your printer produces good layer adhesion, especially for the bolt and clip. I sanded the sides of the bolt slightly so that it glides nicely into the blocking hole. Be careful not to turn the chuck too hard - it might shear the bolt off. So far, mine has survived well. I've made clips from PLA and PET-G, but only time will tell which material is better for long-term use. It should also fit the flexishaft 110/P (steel collet version), but I haven't tested it yet.
