Proxxon Power Supply
thingiverse
This thing is an enclosure for a DIY power supply for PROXXON 12V tools.Although I built this enclosure around the components I selected for my own PSU, it should be easy enough to modify the enclosure to fit your project. This enclosure has 5 PROXXON connectors and a power switch on the front. on the side it has a large opening for a power connector and fuse. I only had PC or kettle power sockets available so the opening is designed around that. The interior features a mount for my 17V 6A transformer. In order to complete the project you will need to print 1 of each of the 3 files, which is the bottom, top and a small internal tray for the electronic components that can be glued anywhere that is convenient.Extra parts needed:1x power socket with fuse holder1x fuse1x power switch2x brass strip - 0.5mmx4mmx70mm1x voltage rectifier (or 4x rectifier diodes) (I used a RS603)some 18AWG hookup wire4x brass inserts M3 (optional)4x M3x10mm bolts to use with insertsor4x self tapping screws2x M3x6mm bolts for power connector2x M3 nutsTo make the power connections to the pins, you slide the brass strip into the botton slots next to the power pin holes, and connect the rectifier + and - outputs to each (make sure you connect them correct, there is a small + and - on the inside of the enclosure)
