Solid tool post mount for the Proxxon PD400 lathe to increase stiffness for parting off and general turning when compound is not required. Note, this model was created with the tool post located in the centre of the cross-slide. For those who use a faceplate it is recommended to offset the tool post to the left side to gain more clearance.
