Proxxon Minimot 40 storage box with carrying handle
thingiverse
This is a custom-made box designed for storing and carrying a Proxxon Minimot 40 along with its tools. The Minimot, dating back about 30 years, was acquired at a bargain price from a flea market in almost new condition, prompting the creation of this custom box. The notches in the bottom are strategically placed to accommodate additional tools or extensions, such as a power supply, which can be inserted for easy carrying with the Minimot. To assemble the box, you'll need the following screws: - 4 countersunk screws M3 x 25 for securing the carrying handle - 2 cylinder head screws M3 x 8 for assembling the hinges with the cover - 2 cylinder head screws M3 x 30 (33 max.) for the hinge assembly In addition, you'll require 8 M3 nuts, and it's highly recommended to use locknuts for added security. A second revision of the box has been implemented to address a critical issue. The cutting disks were prone to slipping off their sleeves when the box was turned upside down, necessitating an update to prevent this problem.
