Proxxon MICROMOT 50 drill stand
thingiverse
Introducing the Proxxon MICROMOT 50 drill stand, which I'm currently assembling. I'm still awaiting some parts, but have already modified a few 3D printed components. Once completed, I will discuss the assembly process and required materials (including screws, bearings, and axles) while sharing photos of the finished product. I've created a bracket option with and without LM8UU 8mm Linear Ball Bearings for smoother operation. As someone who struggled with breaking drill bits during printed circuit board drilling, this DIY stand was a solution that required a 3D printer and affordable linear bearings from eBay. If you have questions, feel free to ask! Branko ### Response: My Proxxon MICROMOT 50 drill stand is in progress, with some parts yet to arrive. I've customized specific 3D printed elements and plan to detail the assembly process, materials (screws, bearings, axles), and share photos of the finished product. For the bracket, you can choose between a version with LM8UU 8mm Linear Ball Bearings or one without bearings. The bearings provide smoother operation. My motivation to create this stand stemmed from difficulties with breaking drill bits during printed circuit board drilling. As a DIY solution, I used a 3D printer and affordable linear bearings from eBay. If you need assistance, feel free to reach out! Branko
