thingiverse
Printed in PLA, 0.3mm layer thickness, with three perimeter layers on top and bottom, 25% honeycomb infill except for the knob which has 16% honeycomb infill. Used a 5/16 threaded rod because that's what was available, but an 8mm rod can be used instead. A smooth rod is also 8mm in diameter. Threaded rod holes are 7mm in size so they can be tapped (use a tap for easier and better results). All bolts are M3 type and the nuts press fit. Parts Needed: - Thirty millimeter M3 bolts and nuts: four, twenty-five millimeter: one, twenty millimeter: eight, sixteen millimeter: five. - Ten millimeter inner diameter springs: two. - Screws for fixing the base to a board or bench: four. - LM8UU bearings or their 3D printed equivalent: four. - Fifteen centimeter and ten centimeter long threaded rods: one each of 5/16 and 8mm diameter. - Regular nuts for threaded rod: five, lock nuts: two. Alternatively, six regular nuts and one lock nut can be used with three to four washers. Press fit a regular nut into the handle elbow and gear. Additional components: - Thirty centimeter long smooth rods: four of eight millimeter diameter.
