Little tooling assistants help perfectly align stuff on the PROXXON MF70 micro mill and probably the independent X-Y table made by the same manufacturer too. The 6mm slot fits well and the 6mm hole has plenty of space inside. UPDATE: As of March 29, 2015, I actually built one out of aluminum material myself. I used a 3mm end mill which left me with an inward-turned corner that had some curve to it due to its shape. The thickness of the stock material was 5 mm so that naturally set the overall height for this part. These little plastic accessories work just fine and are perfect for positioning your material correctly on the xy table of your machine.
