ProxKey Fob Cover
thingiverse
A protective cover for HID Corporation's 1346 ProxKey III Key Fob, often used to control access to secure buildings, was needed after my fob cracked and the rubber front deteriorated and wore off. This cover keeps electronics safe from harsh elements while allowing good radio waves to pass through. The original Tighter Half version fits snugly over the fob with no extra clearance for the worn-out rubber part. The Top and Bottom version has slightly more clearance, accommodating the damaged area. To assemble the cover, sand if necessary until the halves fit perfectly over the fob. If it's too much work, scale up and reprint the parts. Apply superglue and secure the pieces in a vise until they cure completely. It's that simple.
