ProVolt Filament Filter
thingiverse
Specially-designed for the ZENI Kinetic Origin at ProVolt, this thingy should fit perfectly onto the end of the filament feed tube. First, put a bit of foam inside to keep dust from settling on the filament as it goes to the extruder head. Instructions: Print out two copies of this thing. Break off the inner three semi-circles because they are only support material. Cut a piece of foam or sponge that fits snugly inside. Use two zip-ties to secure this thing together tightly. If it's sized just right, the nozzle on top should fit tightly onto the end of the filament feed tube. Feed your filament through the sponge/foam; you'll have to punch a hole in it for the first time. As the filament passes through the sponge/foam, it will wipe away dust and other impurities, keeping the extruder from getting clogged up. Since the ZENI Kinetic Origin comes with two extruders and two feed tubes, you should make two of this thing.
