Proud Source Water Bottle Cap

A screw-on cap replacement for the Proud Source 750 ml aluminum bottle makes a great water bottle for hiking and outdoor activities, but could use an improved top. Print the design on the side with support at around 70 degree angle to achieve the desired shape. I printed in PLA, but ABS would be a better choice. The seal is decent with this cap, but a gasket may be necessary to ensure a tight fit. I am currently working on finding the right gasket and will update the design once it's resolved. Please note that I recommend holding off on printing until the gasket issue is fixed, as the current version has some limitations. A redesign is in progress, focusing on improving the seal and printability. The redesigned cap features a modified top that allows it to sit flat during printing, eliminating the need for support structures. It's recommended to print this design with the screw opening facing upwards. I've tested various settings, but consistent prints are achieved when printing with the lid pointing up. For optimal results, use the MKXII lid in ABS material. The design is specifically sized to accommodate a particular gasket available on Amazon.
