Prototyping platform for Arduino/Raspberry projects
myminifactory
This is a versatile platform designed to support electronic cards. It can be tailored to fit virtually any board, with screws that either screw in or simply sit snugly in a notch. I created two boards: one equipped with an external power supply featuring a rectifier, voltage regulator, voltage gauge, current gauge, a tiny voltage booster, temperature gauge, a spacious breadboard, and an Arduino Uno; another with the Uno, voltage booster, voltage gauge, current gauge, 1602 display, and small breadboard. I secured some boards using screws while others, lacking fixing points, were held together by a drop of hot glue. In the customizer, users can add up to ten boards as needed. For additional boards beyond this limit, they will need to engage in some copy-pasting. I used STL files from various boards as references for these examples. Users seeking access to these STL files can find them at the following links: Arduino Uno: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:253463 Mega 2560: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:739959 Raspberry Pi A+: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:566520 Raspberry Pi B+: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:402498 Raspberry zero: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1323037 Most STL files are rendered and exported with different orientations relative to axis centers, a preference among designers that does not affect slicers but may require manual adjustment when importing these models into other projects. To avoid this issue, I open the file in Cura, slice it without moving it on the plane, and save it again as an STL file. This process centers the model in all three axes and even corrects any errors. Unfortunately, Thingiverse customizer cannot implement external files (at least, I do not know how), so users will not be able to view the boards' STL files but can use the "show_box" option instead. Alternatively, they need to use OpenScad. There are additional modules and components in the groups: https://www.thingiverse.com/groups/openscad-electronic-design/things https://www.thingiverse.com/groups/electronic-cards/things I created links to eBay where users can find components, filaments, and spare parts at competitive prices. These are simply links to eBay and Aliexpress items, where I normally purchase materials for my printer and projects. Clicking on these links will provide a little support for these projects.
