This is just the beginning of a concept that's still evolving. I'm looking for input from designers who can refine and improve it. Currently, I'm working on integrating mechanical and electrical components to link the spool mechanism with the cam mechanism. For the mechanical aspect, gearing systems are being explored to optimize filament flow. For 1.75mm filament, a ratio of 30:1 seems suitable, while for 3mm filament, an 18:1 ratio appears reasonable. I'm not skilled in electrical engineering, so I've enlisted the help of a friend who's working on the stepper motor drive system. Meanwhile, I'll focus on adding threads to the necessary parts to make them printable.
