Revise MendelMax spool holder prototype Although not the final design, suggestions are welcome. This is Version 7 of the spool mounts. They offer increased stability due to their length. Although holes for #5 screws and bearing attachment are included, they are optional. The latest iteration securely grips the frame without a bolt and is easily repositionable. Notes for future improvements: make inner bearing hole slightly smaller for better retention of #5 screws without needing a nut; increase shoulder height to prevent bearing from rubbing against mount body. This configuration may be the final version as it functions well.
