Here are some changes that need to be made: The calf and foot sections of this AFO should ideally use a connection system, and in this particular prototype, I am choosing to utilize bent PEEK rods. These rods provide sufficient support for the ankle while walking normally, as well as allowing users the ability to flex their ankle voluntarily at any time. However, this model is still a work in progress and requires multiple print post-processing modifications due to my limited expertise in 3d design, hence additional refinements will need to be incorporated later on - such changes being expected during subsequent print revisions, notably the adjustment of top parts.
