Prototype Clock
thingiverse
The kitchen clock broke down, so I quickly installed my Man Cave Clock on that wall, planning to design and print another one. The prototype works well enough to do the job for you. I visited Michaels and purchased a clock movement kit, which is the basis for this model. Printer Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator Dual Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 5-10 Notes: I used RepG to merge ClockHands.stl with the clockface.stl files, printing the body and face of the clock. The hour and minute hand stl file is also available, but the second hand stl file is still in progress due to the small post on the clock's mechanism. Designing This I used Openscad with trial and error methods. A bit of trigonometry was necessary to position the numbers and tick marks accurately.
