Prototype Arduino Tach Mounting Sled
thingiverse
We decided to experiment with productizing something we use regularly around the shop, and it turned out to be a simple reflective tachometer that replaced an Amazon-bought cheap model more often than expected. This prototype served as a basis for an upcoming kit inspired by the Arduino, Interrupted project in MEMO#001. Although it still needs a USB power bank and a short USB cable, it's already quite usable. We're providing this platform for you to experiment with. Please note that the OLED display is rotated incorrectly in this photo; we weren't paying attention at the time. Once our kit design is complete, we'll post a full case, but if we don't go for a semi-custom PCB or PCB carrier, you can build the entire project using off-the-shelf parts and our code available on Github. Alternatively, you can purchase the mini-book and kit to ensure we can continue to innovate.
