ProtoTank - adjustments: COG version 2

ProtoTank - adjustments: COG version 2

I acquired a few DC Geared Motors with Rubber Wheels in advance, but the cog-design from the ProtoTank project didn't have the right fit. I decided to recreate the cog using OPENSCAD. This Cog (version 2) fits a bit better than the original one and I could use my own motors too. You can find the STL-file and my own (first created) OPENSCAD file! Timmiclark told me that he and his students chose not to share their source files, which is unfortunate.... Anyone: if you have made some adaptation like me, please share it including the source (openscad or whatever)! Watch this project: more will follow ;-) Print Settings Printer: Craftbot Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: Fillement: ColorFab Yellow (you can use anything, but I used this: difficult to print, but it's a strong material). Software: Openscad, Simplify3D How I Designed This COG version 2 Just printed the original COG first, then I measured everything and started with my first OPENSCAD design. After a lot of try-and-error (best way to learn sometimes) and many test prints, I had a nice end result. NOTE: PLEASE: don't forget to LIKE this design!!!
