These are some of the essential components that connect to the proton pack casing. Features: The following parts were created with "shelves" as guides for applying hot glue welds. • Beam Line • Filler Plug • HGA • Ion Arm Print 2x of Injectors Pt. 001, then attach them to Injectors Pt. 002 using glue. A gap is designed into the parts so that they can be glued and then filled to blend seams. The Booster Tube has a gap just like the Injectors parts. Pt. 003 is separate for sanding and cleaning, then it glues into pt. 002. Fastening: Hardware: • 1/4-20" x 1" hex bolts • 1/4 washers • 1/4 lock washers • ¼-20 nylon locknuts The following components were secured with two-part epoxy and inserted the heads of the hex bolts in: • Beam Line • Filler Plug • HGA • Ion Arm The following components were secured with two-part epoxy and inserted the nylon locknut: • Injectors Pt. 002 The Booster Tube was tapped and threaded so the bolts would engage from the back of the casing. The PPD has two holes in the back to fit #6 socket head screws and a hole in the bottom for a #10 screw. The screw in the bottom is decorative.
